杨莫教授现任香港理工大学生物医学工程跨领域学部副教授，生物医学工程专业课程主任。

杨教授1998年毕业于上海交通大学，之后于2001年在上海交通大学获得硕士学位，2004年在加州大学河滨分校获得博士学位。2008年凭“智能疗法”在国际贸易博览会获铜奖。2009年 凭借 “食品安全生物传感器” 获得布鲁塞尔尤卡里金牌奖，也被评为第五十八届世界展览会产业创新研究。2009年 获得香港医疗及保健器材行业协会学生研究一等奖。

研究领域包括：

·         Biomedical Microelectromechanical systems (BioMEMS)

·         Nanotechnology for biosensing

·         Drug delivery and cellular/tissue engineering

·         Microfluidics

获得奖项有：

·         2015 Faculty Merit Award in Research and Scholarly Activities (Individual) 

·         2009 “Biosensor for Food Safety”, Gold metal award in Brussels Eureka 2009, also known as the 58th World Exhibition of Innovation, Research and Industrial Innovation, 19-21 Nov 2009 (PI)

·         2008 “Smart Therapy”, Bronze award in IENA International Trade Fair Ideas-Inventions-New Products, Germany, Nov 2008，(Co-I)

·         2001-2003 Dean’s Fellow Award from University of California, Riverside.
