杨勇教授现任香港城市大学机械及生物医学工程学系副教授。

杨勇教授2001年于北京大学获得双学士学位（力学和经济学），2003年获得香港科技大学硕士学位，之后于2007年博士毕业于普林斯顿大学，现任职于香港城市大学。

研究领域包括：

·         Nanoindentation

·         Fatigue and fracture of materials

·         Bulk metallic glasses

·         High entropy alloys

·         Mechanics of flexible electronics

·         Hydrogels

获得奖项有：

·         1999 “GUANGCAI Scholarship （光彩獎學金）” Peking University （北京大學）.

·         2001 “Graduate with honor 優秀畢業生” Peking University (北京大學).
