Prof. Peng ZHANG＇s group (https://www.rgcombustion.org/) in the Department of  Mechanical Engineering at the City University of Hong Kong has several positions opening for postdocs, Ph.D., and research assistants. 

Prof. Zhang’s research focuses on  theoretical and computational combustion, droplet and spray dynamics, and theoretical  chemical kinetics.

▶ A Theoretical, Experimental, and Computational Framework for Droplet Collision  Modeling in Lagrangian-Eulerian Simulation of Sprays.

▶ Towards Quantitatively Predictive Modeling of Droplet Collision in Spray  Simulation: Head-on Collision of Equal-size Droplets.

▶ Computational Chemical Kinetics and Large Eddy Simulation of Hypergolic  Propulsion for Attitude Control Engines

(APRC - CityU New Research Initiatives/Infrastructure)

▶ Machine-Learning Modeling of N-periodic Systems of Flickering Buoyant Diffusion  Flames

申请要求

▶ For Postdocs/Research Assistants: Applicants should have a doctoral/master's degree  in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Physics.

Preference will be given to applicants who  have a good background in mathematics and physics.
